Same as the Origami Dripper, this Origami holder also has 20 cavities, enabling the Origami to stand steady. This stops the dripper from tilting during brewing and creating inconsistent brewing.

The holder is made of durable plastic instead of the ceramic used in the dripper. The different material used helps prevent heat loss by assuring that heat is not transferred from the brewer to the holder during the brewing process.
 
The holder is made of an acrylonitrile styrene copolymer that is resistant to boiling water's heat and, therefore, is dishwasher friendly.
