Nestled just 12 kilometers from Popayán in the stunning Cauca region of Colombia, Finca Río Cofre sits at an altitude of 1780 meters above sea level—right where the coffee-growing magic happens. This isn’t just any farm, though. Axel Tveten, who inherited the farm from his father (originally purchased way back in 1962), made a bold move in 2012: he went all-in on organic. Today, every single bean from Finca Rio Cofre meets the eco-friendly standards of ACEC and BCS-OKO.

Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword here—it’s a way of life. The farm is a biodiversity wonderland, surrounded by two breathtaking national parks: Puracé to the east (think volcano-fueled soil fertility) and Munchique to the west, where Pacific Ocean currents help nurture an explosion of birdlife and vibrant ecosystems. Add in the nutrient-rich waters of the Rio Cofre river and its tributaries, and you’ve got a coffee paradise unlike any other.

When it comes to processing, Finca Río Cofre doesn’t mess around. Years of experimenting, tweaking, and perfecting have led to some of the best coffee we’ve ever tasted. While they dabble in all kinds of methods, we’re particularly smitten with their natural Geisha - an absolute showstopper. Think vibrant fruits, delicate florals, and a touch of sweetness, all thanks to their expert natural processing.

This is Finca Río Cofre—a celebration of nature, care, and a whole lot of passion. Give it a try, and you’ll see what we mean. 🌱☕️
